H&R Block, a trusted tax advisor, is hiring a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare individual and business returns, interview clients, and identify tax savings opportunities. You will provide clear guidance and build lasting client relationships, supported by comprehensive training and technology, at a local office.

Successful candidates bring at least 1 year of tax or accounting experience and strong communication skills, with ongoing education to meet IRS/state requirements.

Qualifications

• Must complete IRS/state requirements and continuing education.
• 1 year+ experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations.
• Provide personalized recommendations and tax savings opportunities.
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a client-focused office environment.
