H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional in Georgia to prepare complex returns and guide clients through tax implications with expert interviews and personalized advice.

You'll work in-person at a local tax office, receiving industry-leading training, a competitive hourly rate, and an incentive plan based on your impact as you develop tax expertise and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles
• Strong written and verbal communication; explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse clients
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and tax implications
• Provide recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities and H&R Block products
• Offer IRS support, tax notices, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a client-focused office environment
