This in-person role is based at a local H&R Block tax office in Arizona and emphasizes empathetic, consultative service throughout the client journey.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of required HR Block assessment or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of relevant tax-related experience including individual and business returns
• Experience in client-facing, advisory roles
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications
• Provide clear, personalized recommendations and build client relationships
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive office environment
