H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to join a local tax office.

You will prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to understand their financial situations, and deliver personalized recommendations with tax savings opportunities. You will provide clear guidance on tax concepts, maintain professional standards, and collaborate with teammates to support clients through the season.

Qualifications

Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients
Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications
Provide clear, personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
Collaborate with team members and create a positive, client-focused office environment
