H'R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional in Massachusetts to prepare complete, accurate returns, interview clients to understand their financial situations, and deliver personalized tax guidance that identifies savings opportunities.

This in-person role provides industry-leading training and technology, a competitive hourly rate plus incentives, and pathways to grow in tax and financial services within a supportive, client-focused office.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H'R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation or related experience.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet IRS and applicable state continuing education requirements.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities and relevant H'R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance to clients as needed.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
