H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional in Massachusetts to prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses. You will conduct client interviews, assess financial situations, and provide personalized tax guidance.

This in-person role is at a local H&R Block tax office, with a focus on building trusted client relationships. You will receive industry-leading training, an incentive plan, and a competitive hourly rate as you develop tax expertise and serve clients

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including preparing individual and business returns
• Experience in a client facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including explaining tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS and state requirements
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations, including individual and business returns
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations, life changes, and tax implications
• Provide clear, personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance to clients as needed
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment
