H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate returns, uncover savings, and build lasting client relationships in a local tax office. You will interview clients, advise on tax implications, and deliver empathetic, consultative service with support from training and technology.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation or related experience (individual and business returns).
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and satisfy IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial life changes.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Offer IRS support, notice assistance, and audit guidance when needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a client-focused office.
