Qualifications

Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
Experience in a client facing, consultative or advisory role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and explains tax concepts clearly.
Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
High school diploma / GED / equivalent.

Responsibilities

Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations (individual and business).
Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financials and implications; provide personalized guidance.
Build trusted relationships by offering tax savings opportunities and relevant H&R Block products.
Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
