Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses and to interview clients to uncover tax implications and savings opportunities.

You will build trusted client relationships with empathetic, consultative service, under the support of robust training and technology. The role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office, offering competitive hourly pay and an incentive plan based on impact and performance as you grow

Qualifications

• 1 year of tax preparation or related work experience.
• Experience in a client-facing or advisory role.
• Ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and suggest relevant Block products.
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance when needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a high-quality client office environment.
