H&R Block is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional to join our local office and support clients with complex tax situations. This trusted advisor will prepare accurate returns, interview clients for detailed financial information, and offer personalized recommendations while leveraging H&R Block tools and training.

The role is in person at a local H&R Block tax office. You will help clients with individual and business returns, identify tax savings, and deliver compliant tax guidance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of tax experience or related work in tax preparation, accounting, or finance.
• Experience interviewing clients to gather financial information and explain tax outcomes.
• Knowledge of individual and business tax returns and tax concepts in plain language.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate federal and state tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances, life changes, and tax implications; provide clear recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and appropriate H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notices guidance, and audit assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
