H&R Block is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional for our Tupelo, MS tax office. This in‑person, seasonal role focuses on preparing accurate returns for individuals and businesses and building trusted client relationships through consultative advice.

You will conduct in-depth client interviews, identify savings opportunities, and provide clear recommendations while supporting clients through IRS notices and audits as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; continuing education per IRS/State rules.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred and CPA/EA credential advantageous.
• Experience in tax prep and client advisory roles; strong communication required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide tax-saving recommendations and product guidance to clients.
• Offer IRS support and audit guidance as needed.
