You'll bring tax knowledge and client-facing experience, using industry tools and training to deliver accurate results while building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• At least 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations, life changes, and tax implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment
