Job summary

You will interview clients, identify savings opportunities, and build trusted relationships using strong communication and HR Block tools.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or accounting, including preparing personal and business returns
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must meet IRS/state requirements and complete continuing education
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and life changes
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
