You will interview clients, identify savings opportunities, and provide guidance with confidence using Block training and technology.

In this in-person role you’ll deliver concierge-level service, explain tax concepts clearly, and collaborate with team members to maintain a positive office environment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to assess financial situations and implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and tax savings opportunities.
• Deliver empathetic, consultative service and promote H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, notices assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
