Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of tax prep or related experience, including individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative role.
• Strong communication skills to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and changes.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Offer IRS notice support, audit guidance, and tax notice resolution as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
