You'll deliver empathetic service, explain complex concepts in client-friendly language, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high-performing office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including individual and business returns.
• Strong verbal and written communication, including explaining tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications; provide recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships by delivering empathetic, consultative service and identifying tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
