Job summary

This in-person role is based at a local H&R Block tax office. You’ll conduct client interviews, advise on tax implications, and collaborate with teammates in a supportive, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must complete IRS requirements and state requirements
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year of tax or related experience including individual and business returns
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• GoSystem or Ultratax experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Offer IRS support and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment
