Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate returns, interview clients, and identify savings opportunities. You will leverage training and technology and work in person at a local H&R Block office.

You’ll build lasting client relationships, explain tax concepts clearly, and may support clients with notices or audits as needed. Prior tax experience and credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of tax preparation or related experience.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Must meet IRS and state requirements for continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and offer appropriate H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure a positive client-focused office environment.
