H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations with confidence. You will prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to uncover financial nuances, and provide personalized recommendations.

You will build trusted relationships and highlight tax savings opportunities, supported by industry-leading training and technology.

Qualifications

Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse or complex tax situations (individual and business).
Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications, then provide recommendations.
Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and product offerings.
Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive client-focused office environment.
