You will prepare accurate returns, uncover savings opportunities, and build lasting client relationships—supported by extensive training and technology, in a local H&R Block office. You will interview clients, explain tax concepts clearly, and provide guidance on tax planning while adhering to IRS requirements; this role offers an engaging, in-person work

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities and products.
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
