H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations with confidence.

You'll prepare returns, interview clients, and identify savings opportunities using our training and technology, with a competitive hourly rate and incentive plan. This in-person role is at a local H&R Block tax office, where you will build trusted relationships and deliver client-focused service while collaborating with teammates and adhering to IRS/state

Qualifications

• 1+ year of tax preparation experience, including individual and business returns.
• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financials and tax implications, then provide recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships through empathetic, consultative service and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
