H&R Block is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional for a seasonal, in-person role at a local tax office in the Savannah area. You will prepare complete and accurate returns for individuals and businesses, interviewing clients to tailor recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.

You will deliver consultative service, support IRS-related needs, and collaborate with teammates to maintain a high-performing, client-focused office environment.

Qualifications

• Pass H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment 1.
• At least 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in client-facing, advisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations, including individuals and small businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications, then provide clear recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships with empathetic, consultative service and identify tax savings opportunities and product options.
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance to clients as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
