Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, supported by an expert team. You will receive advanced tax training to help you succeed and grow client relationships over time.

Responsibilities include interviewing clients, preparing returns, and offering additional services while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and IRS compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• CPA or EA certification is preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax experience.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools including video, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support, including audit representation where applicable.
