Liberty Tax Service is seeking a Tax Preparer to prepare individual and small business returns with accuracy and strong customer service in a fast-paced seasonal role. You will review financial records, stay updated on tax laws, and ensure compliance while providing planning advice.

This seasonal, non-exempt position requires PTIN eligibility and the ability to work overtime during tax season, based in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation.
• PTIN or eligible to receive PTIN.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and small business tax returns accurately and efficiently.
• Review financial records to determine forms needed for returns.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Maintain organized records of client interactions and returns.
