Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. at Walmart kiosks seeks a Seasonal Tax Preparer to assist clients during peak tax season. You will conduct one-on-one tax interviews, answer walk-in questions, and proactively engage with Walmart customers and employees.

You will complete tax preparation training and learn continuously, using basic computer skills under supportive leadership to balance teamwork with individual accountability.

Qualifications

• Self-starter and able to work independently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced Walmart kiosk environment.
• Strong client interaction and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work within one of our Walmart kiosk locations.
• Assist clients via one-on-one tax interviews and answer questions from walk-ins.
• Proactively engage with Walmart customers and employees.
• Complete tax preparation training and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
• Utilize basic computer skills.
• Be supported by leadership and knowledgeable tax preparers, ensuring guidance when needed.
• Experience the camaraderie of a team with the autonomy of independent work.
