Job summary

Jackson Hewitt at Walmart is seeking a Seasonal Tax Preparer to work at a Walmart kiosk. You will conduct one-on-one tax interviews, answer walk-in questions, and proactively engage customers and employees in a fast-paced environment.

Training is provided, you’ll use basic computer skills, and you’ll be supported by experienced tax preparers while enjoying the autonomy of independent work and team camaraderie.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to learn tax training and participate in training programs.

Responsibilities

• Work within one of our Walmart kiosk locations
• Assist clients via one-on-one tax interviews and answer questions from walk-ins
• Proactively engage with Walmart customers and employees
• Complete tax preparation training, and demonstrate a willingness to learn
• Utilize basic computer skills
• Be supported by leadership and knowledgeable tax preparers
• Experience the camaraderie of a team plus the autonomy of independent work
