Job summary

Jackson Hewitt - 1558 at Walmart kiosks is seeking a Seasonal Tax Preparer. You’ll engage with clients through one-on-one tax interviews and assist walk-ins in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

You’ll complete tax training, use basic computer skills, enjoy a flexible schedule and benefits, and be supported by experienced tax preparers and leadership while expanding your customer service experience.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate is a resourceful self-starter who works well independently, and part of a team.
• Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and to connect with clients in a high-energy environment.
• Experience in customer service or sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work within one of our Walmart kiosk locations.
• Assist clients via one-on-one tax interviews and answer questions from walk-ins.
• Proactively engage with Walmart customers and employees.
• Complete tax preparation training and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
• Utilize basic computer skills.
• Be supported by leadership and knowledgeable tax preparers, ensuring you're never alone.
• Balance teamwork with independent work to maximize productivity.
