Plodzik is seeking detail-oriented Seasonal Tax Preparers to support during the filing season in Milford, NH. You will review financial records, prepare federal/state returns, and ensure compliance using modern tax software.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of tax prep experience, knowledge of current tax codes, and proficiency with software such as CCH, UltraTax, ProConnect, Lacerte, or TaxSlayer. EA/CPA preferred, with flexible scheduling and potential return offers.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on tax preparation experience (individual returns).
• Working knowledge of federal and state tax codes.
• Proficiency with professional tax software (CCH, UltraTax, ProConnect, Lacerte or TaxSlayer).

Responsibilities

• Gather relevant tax documents and income statements.
• Prepare and review federal and state returns (Form 1040 series) and schedules.
• Identify deductions, exemptions, and credits in IRS compliance.
• Research tax questions using internal databases and tax code resources.
• Communicate status and required documentation to managers.
