H&R Block, Inc. is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office in Colorado. You’ll gather client information, prepare returns, and explain tax concepts with training from day one.

No prior tax experience is required for the role, and earnings are based on a competitive hourly rate with opportunities to increase as tax knowledge grows. Availability for peak periods is helpful.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly
• Problem-solving skills and ability to organize information
• Comfort using digital tools including Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations
• Identify tax savings opportunities and suggest relevant products
• Address questions with problem-solving and available resources
• Build strong client relationships through teamwork and client-first approach
