H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to join a local tax office in Colorado. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.

No prior tax experience is required; you'll learn tax concepts on the job and have the chance to increase earnings as you gain knowledge. This is an in-person, seasonal role with flexible hours during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Strong communication and needs assessment skills.
• Problem-solving and information organizing abilities.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based platforms.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
