Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields including individual and business returns.
• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Strong client-facing, consultative or advisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations and life changes.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office.
