Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional for a seasonal in-person role at a local tax office. You will prepare complex returns, interview clients to understand their financial situations, and provide personalized recommendations to maximize savings while building trusted relationships.

Preferred candidates have a degree in accounting/finance, CPA/EA credentials, and experience with GoSystem or Ultratax. Compliance with IRS/state requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Minimum 1 year in tax preparation or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
