Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent training
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly
• Problem-solving abilities and organizing information to identify solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems, including AI-based tools
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations that are easy to understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and suggest relevant products and services
• Address client questions and unique situations with available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach
