H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office in Wisconsin. You will greet clients, collect information, and prepare returns with guidance from experienced teammates.

You’ll explain tax concepts clearly and help clients identify potential savings opportunities as you build trusted relationships. The role offers training from day one, opportunities to grow tax knowledge, and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration, and a client-first approach
