H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to join a local tax office in Wisconsin. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates.

No prior tax experience is required; training is provided, and you will answer questions while building client relationships. The role is in-person, with an expected hourly wage and peak-season opportunities to increase earnings.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
