H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to help clients with tax preparation and advisory needs. The role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office, with training provided from day one.

You will meet with clients, collect information, prepare returns, and explain results clearly, while building strong relationships and supporting office priorities. You will work with experienced teammates, gain tax knowledge, and have opportunities to increase earnings as your knowledge grows.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort using digital tools including AI-based systems.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
