Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You’ll meet with clients to gather information, prepare complete tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates, and explain tax information clearly.

Qualifications

Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course 1.
Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
Comfort using digital tools and systems included AI based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
High school diploma / GED / equivalent.

Responsibilities

Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
