H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to join our local tax office. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates. Training begins day one, and earnings grow with tax knowledge.

This in-person role requires strong communication, customer service experience, and comfort with digital tools (AI-based tools included). Availability for peak tax season hours is a plus.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly.
• Problem-solving and ability to organize information.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions with guidance.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach.
