H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. No prior tax experience is required, with training from day one and opportunities to increase earnings as you build tax knowledge and skills.

You will meet with clients to gather information, prepare returns with guidance, and explain tax information clearly while identifying savings opportunities. A client-first approach and teamwork are emphasized during tax season.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
• Ability to explain information clearly and ask questions to understand needs.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach during tax season.
