H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with training from experienced teammates.

You will explain tax information clearly, identify savings opportunities, and build strong client relationships while supporting office priorities through teamwork. This in-person role offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities to grow knowledge during tax season. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving abilities and organizing information to identify solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems (AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT).
• HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations clients can understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Address questions or unique situations using guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
