H&R Block, a local tax office, is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to meet with clients, gather information, and prepare returns with guidance from experienced teammates.

You’ll explain tax information clearly, identify savings opportunities, and support office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach during peak season. No prior tax experience required, with training and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma / GED/ equivalent.
