Qualifications

• Required: Successful completion of H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in customer service environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfort using digital tools including AI-based tools
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Experience in client-facing roles
• Availability 15–35 hours per week; up to 40 hours during peak periods
• Evenings and weekends during tax season

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in an understandable way
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
