Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office in Oregon. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates. Training is provided from day one to build tax knowledge and client service skills.

You will explain tax information clearly, identify savings opportunities, and support the team with a client-first approach. Evening and weekend shifts during tax season are common.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly
• Problem-solving skills including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent

Responsibilities
