H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional for a seasonal, in-person role at a Woonsocket tax office.

You will prepare complete tax returns, interview clients to understand finances, and provide personalized tax-saving recommendations, backed by industry-leading training and technology. The ideal candidate demonstrates tax knowledge, strong client-facing communication, and the ability to explain tax concepts clearly, while meeting continuing education requirements.

Qualifications

Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.
Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
High school diploma / GED / equivalent.

Responsabilités

Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations.
Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and tax implications; provide recommendations.
Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and H&R Block products.
Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
