Qualifications

• Completed H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tax preparation or related field.
• Experience in a client-facing, advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses with diverse tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications, then provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
