Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of tax prep, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse client situations, including individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications, provide personalized recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
