H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Advisor to help clients navigate complex tax situations, prepare accurate returns, and uncover savings opportunities.

You'll work with experienced colleagues to develop consultative skills and build lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Must complete H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of tax preparation/ accounting experience including individuals and businesses
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly
• Maintain continuing education and IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and life changes
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Deliver empathetic, consultative service and discuss H&R Block products
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a positive office environment
