Qualifications

• Requires 2 years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, or related fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication; explains tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations (individuals and businesses).
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and tax implications; provide recommendations.
• Build trusted relationships; identify tax savings opportunities and offer relevant Block products.
• Provide IRS support, audit guidance, and help with notices as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
