Qualifications

• Experience in tax preparation for individuals and/or small businesses.
• Strong communication to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• Minimum 1 year of tax or accounting experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations (individuals and businesses).
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and promote relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance when needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
