Job summary

Colville, Inc. is seeking a safety-focused Seasonal Tank Farm Operator for Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. You will monitor fuel movements, conduct quality checks, maintain records, and inspect equipment to keep operations safe and reliable in a demanding Arctic environment.

The position is rotational with lodging at Brooks Camp during hitch periods; prior fuel operations experience is preferred and a valid Alaska CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Alaska CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in fuel operations, tank farm, petroleum, or related industrial setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, monitor, and control tank farm and fuel transfer operations per procedures
• Assist with safe transfer, loading and unloading of fuel products and hoses
• Conduct product sampling, testing, and inspections for quality and safety
• Inspect tanks, pumps, valves, hoses, piping and equipment regularly
• Support routine equipment maintenance and report issues promptly
• Follow fuel-handling, environmental, spill-prevention and emergency procedures
• Maintain accurate operation logs, fuel transactions, quality-control docs and inspections
• Communicate with supervisors, drivers, dispatch and team members for coordination
• Assist with additional operational duties as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor
